Labrinth
has revealed his failed stage dive during the University of Kent’s Party in the
Car Park has not put him off taking the plunge again, joking he must of gained
some weight.
The Earthquake singer, whose face
met the floor when he attempted to dive into a crowd of students during his
rowdy number only to have no-one catch him, admitted he was ‘scared’ after
watching footage of the incident.
Speaking to Guilty Pleasures at
Capital’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium today he said: ‘That was crazy!
There were 50 people like domino-ing. I watched the video the other day and it
kind of scared me.
‘I think I must have put on weight or
something. I’m eating too much!’
But undeterred by the experience
he vowed he was ‘definitely going to stage dive’ again.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old chart
topper also thought Simon Cowell had nothing to worry about following the BGT
2013 final egg fiasco.
‘I’m sure women would still love him
with an egg on his face,’ he said.
