Singleton
Eliza Doolittle has revealed her secret obsession with beefcake Craig David.
The 25-year-old songbird
confronted the ripped Fill Me In singer once she became famous to tell him
about her fantasies.
‘I loved him! He was so good! And
I was obsessed with him,’ the 25-year-old told Guilty Pleasures.
‘I would be so jealous of anyone
who would have backstage passes. I remember going to his concert with my friend
and she was going backstage to meet him and I was so upset that I didn’t have a
backstage pass,’ she grumbled.
Tracking down the 32-year-old
Noughties garage sensation, Doolittle said: ‘I actually met him at a gig a
couple of summers ago and I said ‘I used to have photos of you on my bedroom
wall!’ and he was like ‘what do you mean used to?’
She now has her obsession under
control, despite David showing off the impressive results of his own gym
obsession.
She added: ‘I’ve grown up and things are
different.’
The singleton says why she may not
have snagged David she’s on the hunt for a lover.
‘I like confidence and strength,
and a good man with good morals who will stand up for you and be a lovely
gentleman,’ she said. ‘And sexy too!’
‘I don’t even have a type. If I
meet someone and it’s on an emotional and mental level, I’ll make a
connection.’
Eliza says she’s a cheap date.
‘I like a walk in the park. A
midnight walk through the park. That would be fun!’
For now, Doolittle is putting her
manhunt to one side to focus on her music.
The star, who releases the video
for new single Big When I Was Little on Monday, says she needs to make five
albums before she can die in peace.
The pop babe said: ‘I don’t want to die
yet, because I want to make at least three more albums! Then I could die but
I’d rather make more. But at least three more. Please God.’
