Melissa Steel wants to sing at Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards wedding

Kisses For Breakfast singer Melissa Steel says she’d love to be a wedding singer for her old school mate Zayn Malik.

The 20-year-old has been friends with the 1D hunk for years and is willing to offer her services for his big day with Perrie Edwards.

‘I haven’t spoken to him about the wedding, but hopefully I can be singing there,’ the Bradford lass laughed.

‘We were at school together and in the same year and had classes together. He’s always been supportive of me and we’ve been supportive of each other. I am proud of him,’ she gushed.

Revealing Malik, 21, was a squeaky clean student, Steel admits she was a much more disruptive pupil in comparison.

‘I wouldn’t say I was a rebel, but if I had an argument with a teacher, the argument would last for the whole lesson,’ she said.

With her debut single out this week, the singer says she would love to get the 1D star involved as a guest vocalist for one of her album tracks.

‘We always used to talk about doing a YouTube video together but we never got round to it because obviously the One Direction thing took off. His voice is so RnB so if we did a song it would be amazing. I’d love to make that happen,’ she said.

Union J eye Iggy Azlea and Little Mix duets

Union J say they would love to get a couple of babes – and possibly a baby – on to one of their singles.

Proud dad JJ Hamblett, 26, said his six-month-old son Princeton could add vocals to a track in a similar way to how Mariah Carey’s three-year-old twins sang on her latest album.

‘He doesn’t speak at the moment so it would be a bit difficult, but maybe the next album. That would be cool,’ Hamblett told me.

He added that the band – which includes Josh Cuthbert, 21, Jaymi Hensley, 24 and 20-year-old George Shelley – would love to draft in some female vocalists as well.

‘We’d love to do a song with Little Mix,’ the former X Factor star said, adding that Australian rap babe Iggy Azalea was also a target.

‘Me and George are huge fans of Iggy. We said eight months ago when she released Work that we would love to collaborate with her. And she just collaborated with Ariana Grande. She is so cool,’ he gushed.

It could become possible because Union J and Azalea are set to take to the stage at the Capital Summertime Ball in London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

‘I’ve planned it already. I’m going to go backstage and put the idea out there. If you don’t ask, you’ll never know,’ he laughed.

Union J will perform their new single Tonight (We Live Forever), which is released in August, live on Saturday.

‘It’s about partying all night and being with your friends,’ Hamblett said of the song – adding that his young son with model girlfriend Caterina Lopez is not keeping him awake at night.

‘Do you know what? He sleeps all the way through. We are so lucky.’

Little Mix: We love our erotic lesbian fan fiction

Little Mix are at the centre of a sex-fuelled kidnap plot – but before fans freak out, the drama is only a bit of wishful thinking erotica penned in cyber space by the singers’ fans.

Far from terrified, the Word Up singers are lapping up the attention with singer Jade Thirlwall telling Metro: ‘It is very saucy and quite hardcore. I’ve read a lot of lesbian ones about us all being lesbians with each other.

‘I’ve read one where I got kidnapped before. But they can write what they want – as long as it stays fiction,’ the 21-year-old star said from America where the group are on tour with US singer Demi Lovato.

Thirlwall says she and band are chuffed to be so popular with the ladies, even if it involves signing autographs on breasts.

‘Our lesbian following has definitely grown over the past couple of years. It’s nice though, I think. I love the gay following. Especially when we’ve played at G-A-Y we’ve had a great reaction,’ she confessed.

‘We do get a lot of people asking us to sign their boobs as well. Especially in America. It is a bit weird but why not?! Jesy (Nelson) gets asked to sign breasts a lot. I think it’s because she’s got such good boobs they go to her.’

Meanwhile, Jade was also keen to tell her female fans how to suck a Cadbury’s Cream Egg with Easter on the horizon.

‘I find them really messy. I always find that I’m really excited to start eating them and then afterwards I’ll have cream egg everywhere!’ she teased.

‘Usually what I do is, you know when you have egg and soldiers and you cut the top off? I bite the top off and then scoop the goo out and then I eat the chocolate after,’ she giggled.

Zayn Malik: Perrie and I keep our love life alive via Skype

Keeping a relationship alive is tricky business when you’re one fifth of the biggest boyband of all time. Zayn Malik thanks technology for keeping things steamy with his Little Mix fiancé Perrie Edwards.

The Little Things singer has settled for Skype dates with 20-year-old Perrie when they are driven apart by their hectic work schedules.

‘I think she’s coming back as I leave,’ the 20-year-old said as his group prepare to continue their Take Me Home tour, while Little Mix are out performing in the States.

‘We miss each other,’ admitted the pining star.

‘We’ve got Skype as well. That helps,’ he said – to the amusement of band mates Louis Tomlinson, 21 and Liam Payne, 19.

‘Alright!’ Louis said with a stifled laugh after Zayn hinted his Skype activity may keep his love-life with Perrie spicy.

Meanwhile Liam added: ‘I don’t wanna know what you’re doing in your personal time!’

Zayn and Perrie met after both finding fame on The X Factor and began dating after meeting back stage on the ITV talent show in 2011.

And while the lovers are now looking to make their love permanent by tying the knot, Zayn has already made a permanent declaration of his affections in June this year when he had a cartoon image of his future wife tattooed onto his arm.

The Bradford lad has also explained he loves to use his down time between 1D gigs to add to his body art – but refused to say if he would get more in honour of Perrie.

‘Our manager is going to draw a graph comparing the correlation of time off with getting more tattoos,’ he said. ‘It will go up.’

Little Mix: Underage drinking in the States not possible

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall will be trying to avoid getting busted for under-age partying in the States later this month – where the legal drinking age is 21.

‘Me and Leigh-Anne, we like to party,’ the 19-year-old singer said after handing out Ice Creams and singing her latest hit How Ya Doin’? in London’s Covent Garden on Monday.

‘But when we went to America last time, it was so embarrassing,’ she went on. ‘We only went into this little bar in the hotel and I got ID’d and I was absolutely mortified. I had to go home! It was like I was 14 again.’

The girls will be across the pond to ramp up their assault on the American charts, where their debut single ‘Wings’ is currently doing well.

And the band are hoping to join fellow Brit’s One Direction who will also be stateside at the same time.

‘Perrie can meet up with Zayne although I’m not sure where they will be as they’re so busy,’ Jade told Guilty Pleasures optimistically. ‘Fingers crossed we’ll be able to meet up.’
