McBusted tour will be like an 'orgy'

McFly say it will be like one big ‘orgy’ when they go on the road with Busted.
The two bands announced they will unite following Busted’s guest performance at McFly’s recent Royal Albert Hall gigs and will hit the road in April 2014.
‘I’m buzzing for it, I can’t wait,’ beamed McFly’s 25-year-old Dougie Poynter at the tour announcement in London’s Soho Hotel.
‘It will be really, really, awesome. It will be a bit like – have you ever been to an orgy? Neither have I but I think it will be a lot like this!’
Equally excited bandmate Danny Jones, 27, relived the moment James Bourne and Matt Willis of Busted joined the band on stage in September.
‘We were rehearsing for the Albert Hall and it was exciting. But then when we actually performed together and sang Year 3000 – it was amazing,’ Jones said.
Busted broke up in 2005 after three years together and while Bourne and Willis will be back on the road, former member Charlie Simpson will not be there.
‘He’s not ready to do this, yet, we don’t know if he will. But we are good friends,’ 30-year-old Bourne said – stressing there was no bad blood between the former bandmates.
‘I think some people like to make out that we don’t get along ‘cause it’s good drama but I spoke to him yesterday and he’s doing his thing and working on his album. We are good friends.’
Willis, 30, also explained the time was right for the boys to hit the road with McFly – and insisted it’s better than making a comeback on a reality show.
‘The Big Reunion approached us but it didn’t feel right for our band,’ he said.
‘This feels different. It feels obvious,’ he said after working in the past on each other’s albums.
And while the announcement marks an exciting new chapter in the McFly story, Tom Fletcher insists it’s not a goodbye tour.
‘It’s definitely not the end of McFly. You can’t get rid of us!’ the 28-year-old said.
Jones added he’s excited for a new McFly album in the new year.
Fans will get a sneak preview of what to expect this Friday night.
‘We’re on TV on Friday. It is our debut TV performance together on Children In Need. We need to rehearse!’ the McFly lads admitted.
